Rock climbing continued

Rock climbing continued

For climbers who already have some outdoor experience and want to start leading on traditional protection.

After the course you will be able to lead easier traditional routes, choose suitable protection, and belay a second climber from above. You become more independent in steep terrain and learn to adapt your methods to the situation, whether you are leading or following.

The advanced course is for climbers who can already top-rope outdoors and want to build on that foundation. You work with self-placed protection, learn to assess rock quality, and plan a route based on the terrain. The course also introduces several methods for belaying both a leader and a second, as well as different techniques for lowering and rappelling.

The course is adapted to your previous experience, with a focus on consolidating the basics and developing the skills that let you climb more efficiently with partners at a similar level. Everything you learn is intended to give you a solid base for continued development on real rock.

Duration: 1-2 days.
