Rock climbing basics

Rock climbing basics

For anyone who wants to start climbing outdoors, whether you are completely new to climbing or have spent some time climbing indoors.

The basic course is for anyone who wants to get started with rock climbing outdoors. Over two days we go through the foundations: placing nuts and camming devices, building top-rope anchors from both fixed and natural points, and lowering or rappelling.

You learn methods that work in practice and get time to rehearse them on real rock. All necessary equipment is available to borrow, and you receive clear guidance through each part of the course.

The course gives you the knowledge you need to climb outdoors on top rope in a safer and more structured way.

Duration: 2 days.
